Local Oktoberfest Beers

  • Atlantic Leaf-Peeping Ale
Leaf-Peeping Red Ale is an English style red ale brewed with German noble hops to create a smooth session beer with a mild sweetness on the finish. We use 10% crystal malt to achieve a ruby red color that is reminiscent on Maine fall folliage.
  • Bunker Bunktoberfest
Our seasonal fest bier made to celebrate the bounty of summer and the oncoming cool temps of autumn. Brewed with 100% German Munich/Pils malt. Pours a deep copper with a dark fruit nose. Full and deep malt flavor with a lingering alcohol bite. Finishes crisp & cleans.
  • Banded Oktoberfest
Classic German-Style Märzen, brewed right here in Maine. Every sip delivers a velvety mouthfeel, delightful malt notes, an assertive hop backbone and a crisp finish. The Oktoberfest window is never quite long enough, but we enjoy it to its fullest while we can. Próst!
  • Smuttynose Pumpkin Ale
Brewed with real pumpkin and traditional spices – think cinnamon, nutmeg and clove – it’s a hearty, deeply balanced ale with a cornucopia of fall aromas to match a flavor profile that’s robust and complex without being overwhelming.
  • Gritty McDuffs Halloween Ale
This masterful brew is a not only a great rendition of the Extra Special Bitter style, but a great alternative to the annual onslaught of pumpkin beers. This robust brew has a deep amber color, a bold, malty palate and a well-rounded hop finish. The beer is so good, it’s scary!
  • Maine Beer Company Fall
As the leaves begin to change and the cooler nights prevail, we celebrate the turn of the season with our autumnal offering. Fall is a stout made with cold brew coffee chosen and brewed with our friends from Coffee By Design!
  • Oxbow Brewing Oxtoberfest
Smoked Farmhouse Ale brewed with German malts. Smoked Biere de Garde!

Featuring cinnamon and habanero chili peppers for just the right amount of heat.
  • Elysian Pumpkin Variety
Slice into the Pumpkin Pack and explore classic pumpkin ales and spookily smooth stouts. Included in the Pumpkin Pack are three bottles of each: The Great Pumpkin Imperial Pumpkin Ale, Dark O’ The Moon Pumpkin Stout, Punkuccino Coffee Pumpkin Ale and Night Owl Pumpkin Ale.
  • Harpoon Flannel Friday
American hops combine with subtle notes of caramel and roast in this seasonal Amber Ale. Teetering somewhere between a Brown Ale and a Red IPA but balanced and easy-drinking, Flannel Friday is our tribute to fall in New England.

Imported Oktoberfest Beers

  • Hacker-Pschorr Oktoberfest Marzen
As it was forbidden to brew in summer, a stronger beer – The Marzen – was brewed in March. It would finally be served at the Oktoberfest, under the “Heaven of Bavaria.” We have returned once again to the age-old recipe and recreated that gloriously smooth, honey-colored piece of history from times gone by.
  • Paulaner Oktoberfest Bier
Brewed once a year and only available while supplies last, Oktoberfest Wiesen is the pinnacle of German brewing: deep golden color, full-bodied and wonderfully mellow, with a balanced, harmonious taste and the pleasant fragrance of hops. At 6% ABV it is stronger and bolder than the usual lager.
  • Paulaner Oktoberfest Marzen
This Marzen is an amber style lager that was developed over 200 years ago to celebrate the original Oktoberfest. The Marzen name comes from “March Beer” because it was historically brewed in March to be at peak flavor for the Oktoberfest celebration.
  • Spaten Oktoberfest
Amber in color, this medium bodied beer has achieved its taste by balancing the roasted malt flavor with the perfect amount of hops. Having achieved a rich textured palate with an underlying sweetness that stays true to tradition.
  • Weihenstephaner Festbier
A full, rich bodied and hoppy seasonal lager. This beer is brewed for the Oktoberfest season and represents the Bavarian way of celebrating. Deep gold color, great mouthfeel and lots of flavor. Prost!
