Budweiser Launches the “Taste of Home” Program to honor Service Members
At National, we are proud to be part of the Anheuser-Busch family. Budweiser currently has launched a “Taste of Home” program designed in partnership with the Folds of Honor program to recognize our service members with a Six Pack of Budweiser on us. Nominations can be made online from December 11th through December 31st.
Budweiser is all about bringing people together and creating lifelong memories, especially during the holidays. However, many active service members can’t make it home to spend the holidays with friends and loved ones.
To honor service members who won’t be home for the holidays, Budweiser is launching a program to give them a “Taste of Home.”
Starting on December 11, consumers can nominate a service member of their choice to receive a rebated six-pack of Budweiser and a personal note this holiday season. For every nomination received from December 11 through December 31, Budweiser will make a donation ($1 per nomination up to $5,000 total) to longstanding partner, Folds of Honor, a nonprofit organization that provides life-changing educational scholarships to families of fallen or disabled military personnel and first responders who served our country.
Anheuser-Busch, its brands, and wholesaler partners have been working with Folds of Honor for over 13 years, donating over $21.7 million, which has contributed to Folds of Honor’s delivery of 51,000 scholarships.
To participate in the program and nominate a service member, consumers 21+ can visit Budweiser’s social media channels, click the link (https://us.budweiser.com/budtasteofhome) and enter their personal data along with the name of a 21+ service member they’d like to gift Budweiser to. Then, the nominator will receive an email with a link to the rebate that they can forward to the eligible service member, to purchase a six-pack of Budweiser, on us.
