Announcing the August Employees of the Month!

We are happy to announce that for the month of August, Chris Plummer and Gene Gumaer have been selected as the National Contributors of the Month. Chris and Gene have been chosen as our Employees of the Month for August for their quality customer service, their leadership in the workplace and their positive attitude. Both employees are all-stars here at National and have been nominated on multiple occasions. They consistently go out of their way to take on tasks that help the greater “One Team, One Dream” mentality.

To highlight, here are just a few things that were said about Chris and Gene during their nomination:

“Gene is one of the first drivers through the door in the morning, and he immediately gets to work selecting kegs and add-ons for the drivers. Gene is always willing to take out extra stops to make sure no customer goes without. Gene has been asked and has volunteered to help the warehouse departments and he does so without question. He’s gone out on an emergency Saturday run, and he is always willing to help out anyone who may need a hand after his own route has been completed.”

“Chris has been a huge help in our Wine room after getting his own job duties done. On some occasions we’ve had times with only one wine selector running and Chris stepped up and pulled double duty by finishing his own tasks and jumping in to help with wine. This year Chris has helped set up new pick slots in the Beer room to make room for the new Craft varieties we brought on. Recently he moved product down a shelf to increase the ease and safety with which selectors can pick. Chris is always going out of his way to make the job a little easier for his coworkers, and his efforts do not go unnoticed.”

“Both Chris and Gene hustle to go above and beyond for us all here at National and we could not do what we do without them.”
