September 2017

Fall is here in full force, although you may not know it judging by all the warm weather we have been having. This is one of our favorite times of the year; pumpkin brews, tailgating and football season. Kick off fall with a cool fall evening BBQ with a refreshing Bud and close friends.

With the recent devastation caused by Hurricane Irma and Harvey, Anheuser-Busch has been actively assisting those in need. Working with wholesale partners in the south, more than 900,000 cans of fresh drinking water have been canned and delivered to communities affected by the storms. In addition, they made donations to aid disaster relief and contributed to an employee fund to assist employees who are trying to recover. We are proud every day to work under such a great company that takes corporate social responsibility to the next level.

Fall Beer Selection

We are excited to share our fall, Octoberfest and pumpkin beer selection. Fall is the perfect time to enjoy these specialty craft brews. For a complete listing of our seasonal selections, please visit

Paulaner Oktoberfest MarzenPaulaner Oktoberfest Marzen — A golden, bottom-fermented, typical Bavarian specialty beer for the Oktoberfest, fermented to medium strength, with a malty and very mildly bitter taste.

Harpoon Flannel FridayHarpoon Flannel Friday — This Hoppy Amber Ale is a tribute to the season of change. A bright hop aroma from late hop additions plays with its strong malt backbone. Amber hued, medium bodied, with hints of citrus and pine, this ale is made for the crisp days (and nights) of fall.

Stony Creek Brewing Ripe & CrankyStony Creek RIPE & Cranky (Coming Soon!) — Rotating series of fruit juiced IPAs, made with fresh-squeezed Florida Valencia orange juice, mingles brilliantly with the intense tropical aromas of pear, orange and mango. Available October 1st!

Fall in Love with our Wines

With autumn here, we wanted to feature a small selection of wines you are sure to enjoy this season. To see our full wine selection, visit

Asnella Vinho VerdeAsnella Vinho Verde — This single vineyard wine is brilliant green-yellow, with hints of lime zest, green apple, wet stone and white pepper. The flinty minerality and bright fruit on the Asnella make it an ideal pair for oysters, as well as shrimp, clams, mussels and other seafood. (60% Arinto, 40% Loureiro)

La CartujaLa Cartuja — A gorgeous estate-grown wine from Priorat (70% Garnacha, 30% Mazuelo). Shows ripe, dark berries, licorice, smoky minerals and a hint of succulent flowers on the perfumed nose. Juicy, round and open-knit; a peppery note adds lift to warm blackberry, bitter cherry and licorice flavors. Perfect with grilled and roasted meats.

Fita Preta Touriga Vai NuaFita Preta Touriga Vai Nua — This wine shows the Touriga Nacional in pure format, a rare version clarified naturally and fermented occurred spontaneously. The 3 months of staging in stainless steel vat without any contact with oak makes this a pure unoaked red wine and the name of the wine says all, the Touriga goes naked. Pair with all meat dishes and ripe cheeses.

Employee of the Month

As a sign of our appreciation, every month we honor one employee as the "Employee of the Month" based on their work and staff recommendations.
